  Last night me and my other half went there for our year anniversary. It's where we met, amazing memories which were spoilt by bad customer service. We had dinner there the food was nice but we waited almost half an hour for anyone to come and take our order, and that was just drinks, we then waited an hour for someone to clear our plates for pudding, we would have spent a lot more money with them with drinks etc but weren't given the chance to. It's an amazing atmosphere but the waiting staff really let it down, they caught our eye multiple times but continued to walk past. We will be going there again for drinks by the bar but unfortunately are reluctant to go back in the restaurant.

  Read some really good reviews and thought worth a visit, phoned mid morning to check availability and reserve a table, was assured that I did not need to book. On arrival at about 2.45 ordered drinks and requested a table for 2 an was directed straight away, after a few moments made our orders , soup arrived, fine, main course, chicken ciabata, fine Hake with a plate full of haricot beans ( as I requested no chorizo) grossly over priced at 18 pounds had to try and attract staff for more drinks, when plates where cleared was not asked if desert was required, was just left there sitting and waiting, eventually got up paid the un warranted cost, no gratuities left. Must have hit a shift change, not likely to return. I worked for 50years in the hospitality business think this is probably one of the worst staff attitudes I have encountered. This visit was 17th April bank holiday. Very very disappointed after reading the reviews.
